Do y’all do what I do when you bake: eyeball measurements? I’m guilty of getting in a hurry and measuring in my hand, rather than digging out the teaspoon and tablespoon cups.
But too much baking soda or baking powder can make your bread crumble and too dry. It can also make the batter rise too quickly, and then later fall so you get dense, bitter bread.
So if you’re a hand measurer, like me, estimate on all the rest if you must, but be sure to measure those baking products carefully.
