Holiday Guide: Part 2

Thanksgiving

Yesterday, we posted a great guide for the holidays, but if you want to get real lazy simple, try out this Farmhouse Feast!

I love to eat at Bob Evans for those guilty pleasure meals full of butter and bacon and goodness, so their holiday to-go meal feeds six to eight people, and while it’s not nearly as much fun as cooking all those mashed potatoes, green beans, pumpkin pie, and all the good things, it sure will give you more time to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade and Miracle on 34th Street. You just heat, put in your own dishes (sneaky, sneaky), and take the credit. (And you don’t have to panic that the in-laws will go hungry and/or be accidentally poisoned.)

Many local places will do the same — grocery stores, restaurants, ham specialty shops. Just make sure to order at least a week ahead of time to ensure you get to just sit back and enjoy the holiday!

Do y’all have any time-saving secrets? Wink.
