My Moon Montage
Some of the season’s greatest glory is evident in the sky. This week a crescent moon, or as my family lovingly calls it, a fingernail moon, lives in the sky. If you hold your index finger up to the sky, line it up with the moon and then close one eye, the moon looks like your fingernail. This is probably a result of growing up in a house of mostly girls, but I still find it fun and a bit thrilling! This moon is also a beautiful orange as it rises in the sky and makes for excellent star gazing.
So, here is your plan for tonight, go catch a few fireflies, and then take your blanket outside to gaze at the moon and stars.
